For almost a decade now containers do not merely serve as storage containers meant for transportation or temporary housing. They have become accepted in the world as an alternative option for assembly construction.
In the past few years numerous advantages of modular construction and comfortable housing offered by this type of construction have transformed the typical steel container into a part of the modern architectural solutions.
Architect, Jure Kotnik, who is preparing the exhibition at the Fužine castle, designed the Conhouse project in 2007, together with Trimo, which attracted the attention of the media and experts from all over the world due to its original and sophisticated form. The author received several awards for it.
Starting today, Conhouse and the other projects are on display at the Museum for Architecture and Design in Ljubljana. For more information on the exhibition visit: www.worldtour.conhouse.com.
